Ivinson Memorial Hospital (IMH) located in Laramie, Wyoming is a 99-bed, non-profit community hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Albany County since 1917. Services include emergency, behavioral health, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary, rehabilitation, medical care, surgical care, intensive care, dialysis, extended and family care, as well as a Cancer Center and Diabetes Clinic. Ivinson Memorial Hospital is affiliated with the University of Colorado Health. IMH is fully accredited and meets all standards of the Joint Commission. IMH is also accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Recently, Ivinson Memorial Hospital scored the highest out of all the hospitals in the state of Wyoming participating in the CMS Hospital Value-Based Purchasing Program. “We believe in exceptional healthcare. The latest big picture IMH news includes hospital wide performance improvement. The hospital is utilizing Lean Six Sigma to improve processes, trim waste and increase patient satisfaction. In addition, they are currently reviewing their Master Facility Plan and beginning to plan for new construction of outpatient services.
Strategic revenue cycle strategies or new initiatives for 2015 will include a big focus on Patient Satisfaction within the Revenue Cycle. IMH has initiated a committee that will review patient complaints and recommend improvements. The hospital is striving to become more proactive and patient centered. IMH also recently created
a Revenue Cycle Department that will be taking a closer look at day to day processes within the revenue cycle seeking out opportunities for improvement and revenue growth.

David has been in the Information Technology industry for almost 30 years and in IT Management for 20 years.
